Workplace Fatigue

Many of us try to balance work and our personal lives simultaneously. Some have mastered the skill while others ponder how to accomplish both. No matter how successful we are at trying to master the two, fatigue still sets in.
What causes work place fatigue? Some causes are lack of control, unclear job expectations, dysfunctional workplace dynamics, mismatch in values, work-life imbalance, not allocating time or proper resources for self-care and lack of social support.
Who’s at risk? Individuals stretched too thin, those who work in a human service related environment and those lacking balance between work and/or personal life.
What are the effects of workplace fatigue: excessive stress, burnout, insomnia, anxiety, and/or depression. What can you do about it?- Practice Tai Chi
- Meditate
- Exercise
- Eat a healthy, balanced diet
