With National Domestic Violence Awareness Month just around the corner, the National Resource Center on Domestic has launched a newly redesigned Domestic Violence Awareness Project website to assist advocates and allies in community-based programs, state coalitions and other national organizations in planning and implementing their public education and awareness events.
The website provides a variety of teaching tools, sample forms and templates, links to download media related publications, webinars and audio recordings, and several artwork files. Also provided is a history of National DVAM, various campaign ideas with instructional handouts for event replication, an online store to obtain awareness materials, and a searchable events database that allows advocates to advertise and promote their events.
