Mattel, maker of Barbie, introduces gender-neutral dollsMattel, the marker of Barbie, has announced a new line of dolls designed to encourage play from everyone called Creatable World . These dolls are designed as non-binary and customizable. Creatable World is re-using well-known phrases, like “toys will be toys” and “kids just want to have fun”, to help promote these new dolls.

@sparklezoi the thing is, a woman calling herself non-binary is still going to be treated as a woman and be subjected to misogyny, so what‘s the point? It‘s pointless. There are a million ways to be a woman and a million ways to be men and we should fight against stereotypes and sexism. I can‘t support this new non-binary label, it doesn‘t mean anything and it doesn‘t challenge anything
