NRCDV is proud to offer a 2018 Teen Dating Violence Awareness & Prevention Month mini series, I’m an Activist.“ Each week in February, we will feature the voices of young activist, highlighting their power and unique contributions in community organizing for social change.

Part 1 of 4 in the series features Carmen Dixon, a writer and aspiring activist from Georgia. She speaks on the importance of creating a platform to showcase stories of survival and healing, noting that survivors are rarely heard in public spaces, but deserve to have that voice.
