Something that keeps me up at night that I didn’t think twice about in the moment it happened.

In high school when my English class read the rape portion of “Speak” several of the males expressed that they felt it wasn’t rape. ” They were obviously making out and went outside to have sex”. He was only covering her mouth and shushing her so no one would hear her sex noises”. I think I remember this because I was shocked that sex was being talked about in my English class but I think about it often for a different reason.
